Techhead is a software and hardware store for students, staff and faculty of schools. We get special deals from manufacturers and we pass those savings on to you.

To pass these saving on, we must verify that a customer is a student, staff or faculty member.

Previously we offered two ways to verify: 1. Manually, by sending in a fax or email of proof of eligibility; and 2. Some schools uploaded lists of to pre-qualify students and staff.

We have changed our verification methods. We now offer three verification methods:

1. Email. If a student, staff or faculty member has a school-given email address, we can use that as verification.
2. School code. Each OETC member institution is given a unique code that it may distribute to students, staff and faculty. Students, staff and faculty then use that code when creating their account on techhead.org to become verified.
3. Manual verification. Students, staff and faculty can still fax or email OETC one of the approved verification documents.

Only active OETC members can get a school code for verification. To obtain your school code, visit our contact us page, and select “Obtain Techhead Code” for the subject and submit a request.

You may distribute the code on school premises through the use of flyers or posters. You may also distribute the code in emails that only go out to students, staff or faculty, or on websites that are only accessed by students, staff or faculty.

OETC has created some flyers and web banners that can be customized with your unique school name and code. Download the PDF of your choice. Use a PDF viewer to add the school code. Print and distribute.

OETC will be reinstating its rebate system as soon as possible. When ready, OETC will announce the details of its Techhead rebate system on this site.
